Essential Job Functions

• Setting up machines used to polish or grind metal molds and parts

• Filling, finishing, polishing, and grinding molds and parts by hand

• Inspecting and measuring work pieces to ensure customer specifications are met

• Cleaning, lubricating, maintaining and replacing worn or broken machine parts

• Monitoring, making adjustments, and/or stopping machines if problems occur

• Working with others to determine priority and scope of work for each mold

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Minimum 6 years of mold polishing or related work experience

• Experience within a plastic injection mold making facility preferred

• Able to read and work from blueprints and tool drawings

• Mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
